About La Fenasosa
Nature & Wildlife
La Fenasosa sits roughly 1 200 metres above sea level inside the protected Sierra de Mariola Natural Park. Here there are no streets, no neighbours and no artificial noise – only oak and pine forests, aromatic scrub and endless views.
We live completely off solar energy and draw our water from a 300‑metre well. Hundreds of wild animals roam freely through the estate – deer, wild boar, foxes and birds. They are the real residents, so please observe them with respect. Domestic animals like our dogs, cats, geese and hens are part of the family – enjoy their company but do not feed or disturb them.
The entire property is fenced for safety; please do not leave the perimeter without a guide. Be mindful of the environment: take your rubbish with you, avoid loud music and leave plants, flowers and mushrooms where they grow.
History & Lodge
At the heart of La Fenasosa stands a fully restored 19th‑century castle with nine unique rooms. Each room contains between one and three beds to ensure privacy and comfort. The manor house and outbuildings blend historic charm with modern amenities and are perfect for sports groups, retreats or special events.
In addition to the castle, we provide cosy cabins and a tranquil camping area with showers and a summer pool. All stays must be booked in advance to preserve the tranquillity of the park.
Freeride & Trails
Our park lives and breathes freeride. Trails cater to every rider – from beginners on enduro bikes to professionals seeking high‑speed downhill descents and e‑bike adventures. Highlights include:
Over 20 km of downhill and freeride lines graded from green to black, spread across the La Cruz and Summum sectors
E‑bike zones with solar charging: Carrascal, the Crafty Line and El Águila – including uphill and flow sections for electric bikes
Intermediate enduro lines such as Clancy’s Line (e‑bike only), CB4 (red), Talgo (blue) and Route 55
Downhill race lines like Subca Line and Rux for speed demons
Advanced lines like Vink Secret, Super Cross and Air Line for riders seeking big airs and technical challenges
Pro Line 1 and Pro Line 2 – two pro‑level lines with huge jumps and creative modules
Rock World – a very hard e‑bike mini‑downhill series

▲Lift Services
Shuttle lifts operate mornings and afternoons so you can focus on the downhill. Reserve online for half‑day or full‑day options.
🚲Equipment & Rentals
Hire Mondraker bikes, e‑bikes, protective gear or bring your own. We also organise group or individual courses through Planet MTB and produce videos in collaboration with Patata Productions.
🍴Food & Menu
A daily menu of homemade Spanish cuisine is served between 12:30 and 15:30 (10 €)Thursday to Sunday. Meals are available to riders and guests.
Events & Courses
We host competitions and events and offer private or group coaching sessions. Contact us to tailor your experience.

🔧Mechanic & Suspension Service
Our on‑site mechanic, trained by Andreani and accredited as an official SR Suntour service point, offers repairs and full suspension servicing for all brands. We handle emergency repairs during your stay and can adjust your bike’s setup to perfection – just ask!
Stay with Us
Castle Rooms
Our nine restored castle rooms sleep one to three guests. Wake up surrounded by history, enjoy high ceilings and unique decor and relax in modern comfort after a day of riding.
Cabins
Choose from two cosy quadruple cabins or one spacious sextuple cabin. Each cabin has its own bathroom, towels and blankets. Your space will never be shared with strangers.
Camping & Amenities
Camp in designated areas with dressing rooms, toilets, hot water showers and a swimming pool during the summer. Fires are not allowed.
